This 7-day safari takes you deep into the Northern Serengeti during the migration season, where thousands of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles brave crocodile-infested waters in one of nature’s most breathtaking displays.

Along the way, you’ll also explore the Central Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, ensuring you experience Tanzania’s most iconic safari highlights. It’s the perfect choice for wildlife lovers, photographers, and anyone looking to witness a once-in-a-lifetime event.

All this with the assistance of a Tour Operator based in Arusha. This tour includes full board, a personal English-speaking guide, and private use of a 4×4 Jeep with mineral water, power sockets.

Day by Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Your adventure begins in Arusha, where you’ll be welcomed at the airport by your guide. After a briefing, you’ll transfer to your hotel for relaxation and dinner, preparing for the excitement ahead.

Day 2: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

Our tour Guide Driver will pick you up from your lodge and depart to Tarangire National Park for game drives and packed lunch boxes. Once we finish the game drive, we will transfer you to the lodge/camp for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Tarangire National Park is well known for its large elephant herds, giant scattered Baobab trees and tree-climbing Africa Python. It consists of a diversity of landscapes, from seasonal swamps to savanna with the Tarangire River wending its way through the parklands which is the only source of water here for wildlife during the dry season. It is possible that we will have the experience of seeing a lion stalking his prey or leopards watching whilst relaxing in the trees above. 

Day 3: Central Serengeti Park

After breakfast, departure for the Central Serengeti Park for wildlife sighting. Enjoy lunch in a suitable place inside the park. In the afternoon we will continue for the game drive activity before reaching the camp. Next day we will spend full day inside this park for game drives.

Serengeti is more well-known for its great migrating herds of zebras, antelopes, and wildebeests. Be ready to see resident predators, leopards, cheetahs, and lions, fulfilling their role in the circle of life.

Day 4: Northern Serengeti – Migration Tracking

Another day dedicated to tracking the herds. You may see multiple river crossings depending on herd movements, and your guide will position you for the best photographic opportunities. Beyond the migration, the region is also home to elephants, giraffes, and abundant birdlife.

Serengeti is more well-known for its great migrating herds of zebras, antelopes, and wildebeests. Be ready to see resident predators, leopards, cheetahs, and lions, fulfilling their role in the circle of life.

Day 5: Serengeti North with Great Migration & Central Serengeti

Get up early and enjoy breakfast, then continue with game drive in Northern Serengeti with special eye to the Great Migration. Later we drive back to Central Serengeti where we stop for overnight.

The Great Migration is the largest herd movement of wildebeests, Zebra and other animals crossing Mara River to Masai Mara in Kenya. Migration crosses Mara River that is full of Crocodiles. The best time to visit if from July to early October every year.

Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, then depart to Ngorongoro for game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater while carrying lunch boxes. Descend 600 meters into this natural amphitheater, home to an extraordinary density of wildlife including elephants, buffalo, and the endangered black rhino. Enjoy a full day of game drives inside the crater before heading to a lodge on the crater rim or in Karatu.

Day 7: Lake Manyara Park & Transfer back to Airport

After breakfast, depart to Lake Manyara for game drives while carrying lunch boxes. Once we finish the game drive we will transfer you to Arusha or Kilimanjaro Airport.

Lake Manyara is famous for its arboreal lions who hide amidst the tree branches. There are also numerous baboon colonies that will accompany you along the road from the moment you enter the park.
